About Us...

Privatsky Film Works began in May of 2004, with the intent of creating Action Films that focus on strong Central Female Characters. We are very committed to the storytelling aspect of film and to the idea that Action should be integrated into and enhance the storyline. The personnel of Privatsky Film Works have extensive experience in making Action films for the Movie Industry and it is our goal to utilize this experience to produce exciting and entertaining films that appeal to adventurers of all ages.

Privatsky Film Works was started by Producer Lynette Privatsky and Director Kim Turney. Kim was a Swordmaster at the Academy of Theatrical Combat in Burbank, CA, and Lynette had been studying swordfighting for film with the Academy for over 6 years. They got together and decided it was time to start putting all their training and life experience to work on their own film projects. So they did and Privatsky Film Works was born in May 2004 with the production of a film short called Sticky Situation.

Lynette and Kim and the rest of the PRIVATSKY FILM WORKS TEAM produce, perform in, choreograph, direct and edit their own projects. They do not hesitate to call on the professional services of their many friends in the movie industry to make sure that they are creating works with the highest production value possible...on low budgets!
